Iceland 2013 so far has been an amazing experience and day 3 has been no disappointment.
The day started with possibly the best view of the trip. In front of us were three enormous glaciers the biggest stretching a massive 18km across, definitely a moment to remember. Our next stop was a huge group of icebergs which lead straight into the sea. The sculptured ice was breathtaking mainly because of the fact that everything was so preserved and untouched.
Perhaps my highlight of the day was the four mile treck up the side of the hill. Despite a few falls and tumbles the view at the top was definitely worth it. Before us was a huge glacier tongue which gave us a stunning view.
This is has a been a day to remember and one that I will never forget. I'm sure the trip will maintain it's very high standards.
