Day 1: Matthew Stirke

It was all going smoothly for me until airport security discovered my six pack of Coke in my rucksack.  Despite several warnings from friends that the x ray machine would see my drinks, I still attempted to send them through.  This resulted in a minor hold up and some stern glances from the airport staff.  Aside from that though, the first day has been very enjoyable.  We stopped off at a couple of locations and after dinner at a chicken restaurant, we had a look at Iceland 's efforts at architecture.  The concert hall, Harpa was a very interesting building.  Back at the hotel, we were given our instructions for tomorrow's activities.
